drinking too much tequilla last night and making a goof of yourself and looking for a good lunch meal because breakfast is a no go?
katletis!
fancy russian hamburger and while i don’t cook it in a ton of oil or add chunks of bread like my baba use to (heartburn central), i did use the spices she used and the secret sauce she use to make with them. not gonna share that but i will share what she put in these babies.
ground turkey (she couldn’t eat beef)
balsamic vinegar
carrots shredded and chopped up
corridor
cumin
egg
garlic powder
onion powder
parsley
pepper
sea salt
oat bran (she wasn’t a fan of bread crumbs because of the strong italian seasoning)
olive oil
roll up into balls or tiny patties when you cook them in a pan, fry them of course they get a nice crisp to them. because i was making a sub with them i made balls and browned as many sides as possible.
i had some shredded cheese and after lining the fresh bread with the secret sauce she use to make i sprinkled some in there and then put the katletis, only three cuz the roll was not long. when people make subs they use too much sauce and it drowns out the flavor of the meat and other things which is why these things are bathed in it.
